Same-Sex Marriage (SSM)

Maryland House vote expected on Gay Marriage Bill OKed by Senate.

The region where I live is set to allow Gay Marriage today.

Having the lack of love in my own life, It would be stupid for me to deny the love of two human beings.

If two adults of the same sex want to marry each other, who am I to stand in the way?

I don't care. Its their life not mine.

Love is love as they say. One love.

At one point in my country history one could not marry if you both parties where of a different race.

Those laws were overturned in time.

There is only one race the human race.

What are you thoughts ?

Should Same Sex Marriages be allowed ?

I totally agree with same sex marriage. Marriage should be between people who love each other regardless of race or gender. In the UK same sex marriage is not legal although same-sex couples are now able to enter into a civil partnership by registering a formal commitment to one another. This gives them legal recognition for their relationship, which means they have almost exactly the same rights and responsibilities as married couples.

Marriage ceremonies for opposite sex couples can be either religious or civil, whereas a civil partnership can only be created by a civil ceremony.

It is a step forward.

We have same sex marriage in Canada. We have for years, it's not a topic of conversation here no one cares about it because it's a non issue. I don't know much more then the fact that we have it.
