I saw this in the news today The couple raising a 'genderless baby'... to protect his (or her) right to choice

The couple who already have two boys have a third child whose sex they have decided not to reveal to the world and even close family members and friends have no clue as to the baby's gender. The parents believe that the world is ruled by stereotypes regarding gender so have decided to 'protect' their child from this by letting him/her make their own choice.

Are these parents taking PC too far?

Absolutely ! The child is going to be growing up confused. A child can't rise itself. A child needs guidance and direction. If they can't get from their parents, they will get it out in the streets.

Who gives a damn what the world thinks. The parents need to come back to earth and swallow their ego. All the parents are doing is drawing attention to themselves. They need to be a parent and rise that child to the gender that the child was born with.

When the child becomes an adult, he or she if free to chose any gender that he or she wants.
